Signs and screens are the first things people read in a building, and the first things they notice when something’s off: a room sign at the wrong height, a crooked lobby logo, a TV with cables hanging down the wall. We install signs and displays in offices, stores, restaurants, medical offices, schools and hotels across Greater Philadelphia, level, secure and positioned for the people who use them.
Before drilling, we check what the wall is made of and what’s behind it. Displays go into studs, blocking or structure using the mount manufacturer’s hardware pattern; metal stud walls get toggle bolts or backing plates, and concrete or block gets masonry anchors. Letters and multi-piece signs are laid out with templates and a laser level so spacing and alignment are exact. Where the wall allows, cables are run inside the wall using in-wall power and cable kits, or covered with paintable raceway.
Permanent room signs with tactile characters go on the latch side of the door, with the baseline of the lowest tactile character at least 48 inches and the highest no more than 60 inches above the floor, and an 18 by 18 inch clear floor space in front of the sign outside the door swing. Signs that hang over walkways need at least 80 inches of clearance below. We check placement against these rules on every ADA sign we install.

Room signs with tactile characters and Braille go on the latch side of the door. The baseline of the lowest tactile character must be at least 48 inches above the floor, and the highest no more than 60 inches. There must be an 18 by 18 inch clear floor space in front of the sign, outside the door swing. Signs must have a non-glare finish and characters that contrast with the background.
We find studs or structure first, use the mount manufacturer's hardware pattern and the right anchors for the wall type, and drill only the holes the mount needs. Cables are run inside the wall with an in-wall kit where possible, or covered with paintable raceway.
Usually, yes. In hollow walls we use in-wall power and cable kits. On concrete, block or walls with fire blocking, we use a low-profile raceway painted to match the wall.
Yes. We mount wall signs and tenant panels with anchors suited to the facade and seal every penetration against water. For illuminated signs, the electrical connection is made by your sign company's electrician, and we coordinate the mounting with them.
Yes. Menu boards and screens are typically installed before opening or after closing, level and aligned across the whole run, so the dining room is ready for service.
